Time Matters With Water Damage

If your phone was exposed to water, time is the single biggest factor in whether it survives. Power it off immediately, do not charge it, do not press the power button repeatedly, and do not shake or blow into the ports. Bring it in as soon as possible.

Our Water Damage Recovery Process

1. Immediate disassembly — to stop ongoing corrosion
2. Ultrasonic cleaning — the motherboard is bathed in specialised solution that removes mineral deposits no manual cleaning can reach
3. Corrosion treatment — affected components are de-oxidised or replaced
4. Component-level inspection under microscope — every connector, every IC
5. Reassembly & testing — including data integrity checks
6. Data recovery if the device cannot be revived

What "Cannot Be Fixed" Really Means

Many shops tell water-damaged customers "your motherboard is dead" — when actually the board is alive but a single corroded IC is preventing boot. Our chip-level capability means we look further before declaring a phone unrecoverable. If we say no, it really is unrecoverable; in that case we still recover your data wherever possible.
